Retouching a photo aims to eliminate or smooth out flaws to make the person portrayed look their best.
The following works are part of a retouch:
- Improve the contrast and color of the photograph
- Smooth wrinkles, maintaining personality
- Remove spots, pimples and marks on the skin
- Whiten teeth
- Enhance the eyes
- Soften the skin, maintaining its texture
It is also possible, with photo retouching, to lose weight, hide "love handles", increase or decrease parts of the body, and almost anything that is proposed.
And you can also turn a snapshot or home photo into a studio photo, replacing the background, adding highlights and shadows, and retouching the main subject of the photo. We can also make your photograph an oil painting.

How do I send the photograph?
You probably already have your photo stored as a JPEG file.
Send us the file and your instructions by email:
If your photo is only on paper, scan your photo at a resolution of 300dpi (dots per inch) or go to a store where they can do the scan for you.
Once scanned, send us the file and your instructions.
If you cannot scan the photo, contact us and we will tell you how to send your photo by post.
Will I be satisfied with the result?
Once you accept our quote, we will send you the proofed retouched image and you will only pay when you accept the proof. Therefore, before paying, you will see the result of the retouch.
NOTE: The test image is imprinted with the EMFOTOGRAFIA.COM logo. This logo will disappear in the final image that you will receive after payment.
How will I receive the retouched photograph?
We will send your retouched photograph, as a JPEG file, to your email address. This image can be printed at any digital development lab.
If you wish, and at an additional cost, we can record your image on CD-ROM (cost € 5) or send you a copy on photographic paper with traditional chemical development of the highest quality (cost € 5). Indicate this in your instructions and we will add the price of these services to your budget.
